GKN Driveline successfully participated in this year's IZB Show in Wolfsburg, Germany, being our
5th consecutive participation.
On 100sqm we were able to impressively display our latest sideshaft and propshaft Technology
- focussing especially on crosstrack and countertrack - which is already in production with VW.
Completing the "GKN Driveline Experience" was the display arranged by Torque Technology, stretching
from the geared power Transmission products via the passive TMDs to the Active TMDs.
Complementing the GKN Driveline stand were the displays of GKN SinterMetals with a wide range
of powder metallurgy products and GKN Autostructures, demonstrating their capability of achieving
very signifcant weight savings in so called subframes.
Amoung the numerous visitors from VW and the VW group was Mr. Fuhrmann (Leiter Entwicklung
Fahrwerk Volkswagen PKW) with his team leaders, who took his time to view and appreciate
the technological leadership of GKN Driveline in the automotive Driveline business.
