Offset Control

The balls of the joint are controlled, i.e. guided into the desired position with the aid of crossing tracks.

Open Differential

An open differential always applies the same torque to both wheels. The maximum amount of torque is limited to the torque transmitted by the wheel with the lowest grip.

Opposed Tracks

Opposed tracks are used in the countertrackā„¢ joints where the half of the tracks face into and half face out of the joint.

Outboard Joint

The outboard joint is the CV joint that connects the sideshaft to the wheel. For front drive applications, it accommodates articulations that allow the wheels to steer.
