Proving Ground

GKN Driveline’s proving ground is located in Oyama, Japan, and it includes a vast range of tracks to enable automotive component and vehicle manufacturers to test and demonstrate their products.

The test course and control tower are located within an overall area of 200,000m2. In addition to high-speed vehicle tests on the 1,800m oval circuit, the test track provides special test areas for evaluation on a variety of different surfaces and handling tracks. There is also a vehicle test centre offering comprehensive facilities for maintenance, product fitment and instrumentation of test cars.
