Xabier Etxeberria joined GKN in Spain in 1994 and held a number of senior positions in Spanish Operations. In 2002 Xabier was appointed Global Product Launch Director, and in 2004 his responsibilities were extended with his appointment to Global Commercial & Industrial Director. In 2006, Xabier was appointed Operational Systems Director for GKN Driveline Driveshafts and he took up his current position in November 2008. Xabier is based in Redditch, UK.

Before joining GKN, Xabier was Production Director in Arcelor-Mittal and Managing Director of Harrison Axle.

Xabier has a degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Bilbao, Spain.
